Before joining IIT Bombay, he was a postdoc researcher at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, from 2019 to 2021. He completed his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras in 2019. He received the BHAVAN fellowship award and was a research affiliate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, USA.
