Energise 2025 continues to use ConfTool for full paper submission. Authors whose abstracts have been accepted are invited to submit their full manuscripts via the ConfTool system by May 15, 2025. Please follow the instructions below and use the provided template for manuscript preparation.
All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process, after which they will be scored and considered for oral or poster presentation. The conference technical committee reserves the right to classify submissions under the appropriate track, contribution type, or presentation format.
Instructions
- Please make a new full paper submission using the ConfTool.
- To enable the blind review process, please do not include your name, affiliation, and acknowledgment on the draft submitted for review. This information will be requested in the final submission.
- Please use the template provided when preparing your manuscripts.
- The manuscript must be a minimum and maximum of 6-10 pages, excluding references.
- Upload your submission as a PDF file (≤10MB).
- Please name your full paper file using the format contribution-id_corresponding-author-name (example – 428_Saumya_Kumar). Ensure the file name does not contain special characters, umlauts, or spaces.
- The submission deadline is May 15, 2025 (Midnight IST).
- Disclosure and instructions on the use of AI tool(s) are given in the template.
- To ensure your paper is considered for review, please format it as per the Energise paper template. Failure to meet this requirement may lead to rejection.

The three main global energy concerns of providing access to modern energy, enhancing the security of the energy supply, and minimising the impact of energy systems on the climate have an impact on both national and international energy governance. To develop solutions that address the many facets of these difficulties, however, a variety of actors and stakeholders must be included due to the complexity of the energy challenges.
Cities are responsible for more than 70% of the world’s energy consumption and 40% to 50% of its greenhouse gas emissions. Managing increasing urbanisation is a challenge, and nations must deal with the effects it will have on the environment in terms of energy and climate.
Our transition to a future with lower carbon emissions depends heavily on buildings. They are our places of residence, rest, and employment; they also account for around one-third of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions and nearly 40% of the world’s energy usage.
