Tanmay Tathagat is the Executive Director of the Environmental Design Solutions [EDS], a multidisciplinary consulting firm focused on addressing the issues of sustainable development in the built environment. Tanmay uses his diverse experience to lead the process of integrated design and to find unique opportunities for cross pollination of ideas across disciplines. Tanmay is an acknowledged expert in building energy simulation, and apart from working on design projects, has provided training and assistance to architects, engineers, and facility managers all over the world. Tanmay studied architecture at School of Planning and Architecture at New Delhi and later specialized in building sciences, climate responsive design, and energy simulation during his studies for MS at the Arizona State University.

Prasad Vaidya is an independent energy consultant and leads the effort for Solar Decathlon India. Until recently, he was a Professor and Area Chair for Building Energy Performance at CEPT University in India. He has over 25 years of experience in working on energy policy, energy efficiency program development, and net-zero-energy building projects. Mr. Vaidya is a LEED Fellow, and volunteers on committees for the US Green Building Council (USGBC). He is a member of the Technical Resources Group for the Clinton Climate Initiative. He holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Sir J J College of Architecture.

Pierre Jaboyedoff, Associate at Effinart, a consulting company active in efficiency and renewable is energy in building and industry. His experience ranges from passive simple housing up to large hospitals and watch industries. He has been a consultant for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation organisation like TERI since 1992 in the small scale industry sector and since 2011 as the leader of the Swiss Project Management Technical Unit of the Project BEEP (Building Energy Efficiency Project). His main field of expertise is in simulation assisted integrated design of buildings (passive design strategies, HVAC and renewable technologies). He has master degree of mechanical engineering from EPFL with special focus on energy and thermal engineering.

Mr Ranjit Bharvirkar is the Principal and India Program Director at the Regulatory Assistance Project. His area of specialisation is Energy and Environment. He has more than 18 years of experience in policy analysis and technical assistance to state- and national-level policymakers in the U.S. and India. In September 2018, the Oxford University Press published a volume titled “Mapping Power: The Political Economy of Electricity in India’s States” that was co-edited by Mr. Bharvirkar. He holds a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, a master’s in environmental engineering from North Carolina State University, and a master’s in public policy from the University of California at Berkeley.

Dr. Priya Sreedharan is the Senior Clean Energy Technical Advisor with USAID/India, where she provides technical and strategic guidance for USAID/India’s ongoing and new activities in grid modernization, clean energy, regional energy cooperation and air quality. Priya has more than 18 years of experience in the domains and intersections of sustainable buildings and power sector, etc. She has worked towards energy transition in both the US and India. She has PhD and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mr Pawan K Mulukutla is currently the Head- Urban Mobility Urban Mobility at Bosch. His area of expertise is E-Mobility. He has been awarded with TRB Best Paper Award and has also Co-created Better Bus and STAMP platforms. He did his M.S in Transportation Engineering from Clemson University.

Mr Padu S. Padmanabhan is the Trustee of Alttech Foundation (ATF), India and Executive Committee Member of AEEE. His area of expertise is in Strategic Energy, Water and Environment. He has more than 40 years of experience in national, bilateral and multilateral organizations. He has been awarded with Energy Manager of the Year 2019 for Asia by the U.S. Alliance for Energy Engineers; the World Clean Energy Award, 2007 by the Swiss based Transatlantic 21; Hall of Fame Award in 2013 by the Indian Green Building Council, and, the All India Power award in 2010. He did his BE, Mech Engineering from University of Madras; PG Certification in Fuel Efficiency Engineering from NPC, and Diploma in Energy Management from IRI, Italy.

Dr. Peter du Pont is Co-Founder and Managing Partner in Asia Clean Energy Partners, an international consultancy that provides services and solutions for clients in the development and business sectors. His area of expertise is in climate and clean energy, and he has more than 30 years’ experience developing sustainable energy and climate programs in the U.S. and Asia. He has a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in Energy and Environmental Policy from the University of Delaware.

Mr. K.N. Rao is a post graduate Chemical Engineer from IIT Madras and currently working as Director – Energy, Environment & Sustainability at ACC LIMITED. He has more than 37 years of rich experience in the fields of Energy, Environment and Sustainability. His current assignment includes Energy conservation projects implementation, environment compliance and environment projects implementation, Sustainability strategy development and its implementation.

On behalf of ACC, he worked as a Co-chair for the WBCSD – CSI India for low carbon technology roadmap 2050 for Indian cement industry; Sectoral Expert for BEE for Cement sector, for PAT methodology development and Implementation, Co-chair for CII Green Cementech, Member of CII Green Council, Member of Sustainability Committee of CII, FICCI, IMC and Bombay Chamber of Commerce. He is also Certified CII Sustainability Assessor.
